Retreat, awaken, renew

Bodhi was created to be an idealistic country retreat, only 1.5 hours drive from the hustle of Melbourne – mostly along wide and scenic roads. A collection of seven luxury cottages, situated on 25 acres of beautiful native bushland with walking paths, natural springs, a stream and multiple dams. Launched in November 2018, all the cottages have been stylishly renovated to a high standard with a contemporary Scandi feel and all the modern comforts.

The founders of Bodhi are a young couple from Melbourne, who have been stayers and lovers of Daylesford for years. They acquired the property in late 2017, with the grand vision to create a luxury wellness retreat centre; inspired by their travels to retreats in Byron, Bali, Peru, Jamaica and Asia. Their vision for 2020 is to develop a world class eco-retreat with multi-functional spaces, a ‘paddock to plate’ vegetarian/vegan restaurant and day spa. The cottages on the property already have the capacity to accommodate up to 30 guests. By then, guests will be able to stay at Bodhi while taking up wellness retreats, curated events, fine dining and the best local wines.
